Double Ten-Frame
An instructional approach used in K–2 classrooms to build number sense and grouping strategies. It promotes children's development of thinking and grouping strategies, and of number facts to twenty, through number relationships rather than memorization. It's especially useful for classrooms not using the Structuring Numbers sequence, and for second-grade instruction.
